I have published several Kindle books. I’ll put the links here, so if you’re interested after reading the article, I would be happy if you could also read my Kindle books.

Nice to meet you. My name is Saikawa Goto. Thank you for coming to my blog “Lushiluna”. In the Japanese self-introduction article, I explained the origin of the names “Saikawa Goto” and “Lushiluna”, but it’s very difficult to explain in English (Saikawa Goto is from a Japanese novel, and Lushiluna was named after a combination of Japanese words), so I’ll skip it.
Now, I will write about myself in three parts: “My past,” “Books,” and “Movies”.
About Saikawa Goto
I summarized how I’ve been involved with books in the following article.
Here, I’ll roughly write about it.
Ever since I was a child, I have always struggled to live. I didn’t fit in with my family at home, and I didn’t fit in with my teachers or classmates at school. I was only good at studying, so I managed to get through my childhood with just that strength of being “good at studying.”
Some people say they want to go back to their childhood, but I can’t believe it.
Adults would be easier to live, right?
I have always rebelled against ideas like “normal,” “common sense,” or “taken for granted” regardless of the era. I couldn’t understand why everyone was laughing, or couldn’t do job hunting that everyone takes for granted. I stumbled in various situations.
I dropped out of college and experienced a short period of being a shut-in. I sometimes felt like I wanted to disappear from the world, but I thought, “Well, I can’t help it, I’ll manage to survive somehow,” and ended up living irresponsibly while working part-time jobs without getting a full-time job.
As an adult, I started meeting people with various ways of thinking that I didn’t encounter much as a child. Through this, my values gradually changed. Sensations like “I have to do it this way” or “being alone is scary” have slowly faded, and I feel easier to live than before.
Reading books from various genres also gave me a sense of being released from what I was confined to. Through this blog, I hope to give those who are struggling a similar opportunity.
However, things that make life difficult for me haven’t changed even now. But unlike before when I didn’t understand the reason behind it, I now have a pretty good idea of why, so I’m still feeling a bit relieved.
It’s really hard to live, isn’t it?
Yeah, it sure is.
About Saikawa Goto’s relationship with books
I summarized how I’ve been involved with books in the following article.
Here, I’ll roughly write about it.
I’ve been reading books since I was a child, but I was quite biased. I started reading books seriously from my second year of college.
What happened?
Honestly, I don’t remember much.
For some reason, in my second year of college, I suddenly went to a second-hand bookstore and bought a lot of books, and my life of reading books started from there.
I was really busy in my second year of college.
You rarely missed lectures and your grades were almost all A’s, right?
Not only that, I was also involved in an active club.
After that, I started working as a bookstore clerk for about 15 years and became involved with books in my public and private life. As a bookstore clerk, I had various experiences such as appearing on TV and speaking in front of people, but I’m not a bookstore clerk now.
What are you doing now?
Well, it’s not worth mentioning.
About Saikawa Goto’s relationship with movies
I summarized my history with movies in the following article.
Here, I will write it roughly.
To be honest, I haven’t had that much involvement with movies.
I started to watch movies properly around the age of 32. Before that, I only watched them occasionally, so I haven’t really touched on classic or masterpiece works.
As a basic rule of mine, I try to “watch movies in theaters as much as possible.” Although I do watch them occasionally through streaming, I consider going to the theater to watch a movie as the fundamental way.
I often go to independent movie theaters. I also go to cinema complexes, but I hope that small movie theaters can somehow survive.
